Sofia Bernhardt

RESEARCHER

Sofia joined nfpResearch in September 2024 as a research assistant. She leads nfpPublic Ireland, a bi-annual brand tracker measuring public perceptions of Irish charities, and manages clients for nfpPublic UK. She works with a range of clients, everything from overseas aid to health, animal, and children's charities. For clients in both the UK and Ireland, Sofia tracks how charities are perceived and recognised over time, setting the findings in context with wider sector research.

Sofia also supports and leads on various quantitative and qualitative bespoke projects. These range from public attitudes studies and funder enquiries to membership surveys. Clients she has worked with include, but are not limited to, Barts Charity, the Institute of Physics, and Children in Need.

Before joining nfpResearch, Sofia completed her Master's in Development Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
