Leiyuan joined nfpResearch in February 2025 as a Research Assistant. She now leads nfpPublic Minority Ethnic, our annual research with minoritised ethnic communities in the UK. She also contributes to other tracking research with different audiences, working across all stages from questionnaire design to analysis and reporting. In addition, she supports on a range of bespoke research projects across brand, supporter insight, and member and applicant experience, with clients including the British Wireless for the Blind Fund (now Visably), the Irish League of Credit Union, ENT UK, the Air Ambulance Service, and the Youth Investment Fund.

Before joining nfpResearch, Leiyuan worked as a researcher at a London-based not-for-profit on narrative research and message testing for social change organisations. She also has a background in academic research, including contributing to a project investigating AI-generated election disinformation across Belgium, France, the UK and the US at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she also earned an MSc in Media and Communications (Research) and received a Best MSc performance award.
