Bijal Rama
RESEARCH DIRECTOR
Bijal is a Research Director at nfpResearch, leading our audience tracking research team. She specialises in research with the general public, MPs and journalists, overseeing our flagship trackers: nfpPublic, nfpPolitics and nfpPress. Across this portfolio, she works with charities across the UK and Ireland, as well as political and media audiences, to understand perceptions, monitor trends affecting the sector and strengthen how organisations position and engage with their target audiences.
Her work spans brand proposition and message testing, audience profiling, attitudinal segmentation and campaign development. Bijal has extensive experience in general public brand tracking for charities, research with minority ethnic audiences, identifying potential supporters and exploring public experiences of social issues. She specialises in helping clients interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
Bijal graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2013 with a BSc in Geography. She has volunteered with Girlguiding since 2008 and has held several roles focused on girls' rights and gender equality. These include serving on the Advocate Panel, contributing to Girlguiding's Girls' Attitudes Survey, and delivering workshops and leadership programmes for girls and young women.
