nfpPublic Ireland is the only dedicated tracking programme for the Irish charity sector, combining large-scale public surveys with original qualitative research to give charities an evidence base that simply doesn't exist elsewhere.
Twice a year, we survey 1,000 members of the Irish public, tracking spontaneous and prompted awareness, trust, support, recall of advertising and publicity, and recognition within your area of work. You can benchmark your charity against others in the programme and track how public attitudes to the issues you care about are shifting over time.
Once a year, we complement the survey with a programme of qualitative research that changes focus each time. Recent projects have included interviews with Irish journalists about how charities can work with the media more effectively, digital ethnography exploring donor behaviour, and focus groups with supporters. This gives subscribers not just numbers, but depth and context that brings the data to life.
Twice a year, we bring the full client group together in Dublin to debrief the latest findings. These sessions have become a valuable moment for the sector in their own right - a chance to hear the latest evidence, share challenges, and connect with peers across Irish charities.
With nfpResearch's Co-Managing Director Cian based in Belfast, we maintain a close and ongoing connection to the Irish sector. Our research here is designed for this market specifically, drawing on two decades of sector research expertise.
